Should I redo this bedding job?

Take a small file and give the notch for the lug plenty of clearance. At the top of the pillars, give them a nice bevel....an inside case neck deburring tool works well. Especially a VLD style. Make sure there's no contact between the action screws and the pillars...making them 5/16" inside works well. If you do this with a drill bit after it's bedded you have to be really careful that the bit doesn't tear out the bedding over the pillar.

Good shootin' and congrats! :) -Al

To add to the fine points Al made. If I need to open up the pillars after bedding, I usually drill from the bottom of the stock, as this will pull the chips into the stock and not damage your nice bedding job. Good luck and nice work!
