comparator

After reading here for hours about these
(tooo much lol) I bought the Hornady one.
I thought this could be used to accurately adjust the sizer die.
Did I think wrong or am I totally missing something?

I do not know of c body 375.
This tool included a red anodized aluminum piece,
7 aluminum bushings for different calibers,
1 Allen screw and wrench, and a thumb screw.
Am I missing a part?

None of these bushings fit over the case neck.

I thought the bushing would
be double sided and do both.
No, this way you get to buy two sets and as mentioned once you buy the correct set you'll have both. I use them both, very handy. Just keep the list from each set so you know what numbers are for what sizes. I really need to print off a proper cheat sheet that has it listed for both sets. On that note, I think their website has updated info on cases not listed on the box.

What I have is named,
Hornady lock n load bullet comparator kit
and basic insert set.
And a brain cramp that you guys helped relieve.
The bullet comparator works just fine for setting die’s , use the size that makes contact about half way on the shoulder.

If you can't find a caliber on a Hornady doc you can always go to saami.org, find your caliber and it will be listed there on both the case and chamber diagram. On the chamber diagram it's marked by X in a circle but it's simply the diameter of the middle of the shoulder. Not sure how to find it on C.I.P. there's a lot of info for each cartridge but headspace wasn't slapping me in the face. bobp.cip-bobp.org/en/tdcc_public
