300 WSM Lapua Brass

Now some 7 WSM brass would certainly be nice. Especially since no one is currently producing this brass for handloading.

Then I'd like to see the RUM series be produced!

We probably need to get together an order for about 250,000 pieces to give them an incentive.

I know this is an old thread but I'd like to see Lapua start making 300wsm brass. I use Lapua in .223rem and it's accurate and EXTREMELY consistent in both size AND weight. I've never tested them but I'd almost guarantee the volume would be consistent as well. I am setting up my 300wsm to be used in Long Range Precision Competition shooting and I'd LOVE to be able to use Lapua brass. What I can't figure out, and to avoid arguments I won't mention specific calibers, but Lapua makes brass for a number of calibers that are much less popular than 300wsm and some of the other short action rounds. I can't imagine that it wouldn't be profitable to make cases for these other rounds. COME ON LAPUA, WE'RE ASKING NICELY!!!! PLEASE START MAKING BRASS FOR 300WSM!!!!!

I, too, want Lapua to start making 300WSM brass.

I am getting set up to load 300WSM, and I was shocked when I learned Lapua didn't make brass for that very popular cartridge. Seems odd that Lapua would ignore all the money 300WSM brass production would generate. I guess they would probably hurt their back having to carry all that money to the bank, so they are avoiding it.

Your odds are better talking to Peterson, ADG, or Alpha. Smaller companies, in the US, and targeted more to competition shooters, and of the two I'd bet on Peterson or ADG. Alpha looks like everything they make are cases based off of the 308 or the 6.5 Creed. Peterson is making stuff with bigger heads.

I'm brand new to this cartrige and my rifle hasn't even been build yet but I'm a YUGE fan of Lapua brass, I'm gonna check with my gunsmith to see if the reamer he ordered is good to go with the new Lapua brass

They said it would be available "spring of 2024", hope it's early spring!

Meanwhile, we've got a bunch of 300 PRC; are folks necking it down to 7 PRC?

Lovely.

I can't even get Lapua Palma brass right now, never mind new models. Why can't they deliver what they already make?
