Anything other than a Nightforce?

In you $1k price range:

$1.5k:

IOR Valdada, uses German Schott glass in the optics, although I use an older Redfield fixed 24X 6400 on my rifle to good effect...

I really like the line of Nightforce optics. But they are definitly on the pricy side, but again you usually get what you pay for.
I am looking to scope my 6mmBR. I'll probably end up mounting an NX8 4-32 power.
Just wondering what else I should possibility consider to possibly keep the price down around 1000 or so. This is sorta a secondary rifle and would like to keep the cost down a bit.
Thanks!
If your happy with it, why change. Likely you won't be happy with a less expensive scope. I love Leupold and don't think the Nightforce expense is worth paying for. Having had one before but my VX5 scopes seem every bit as clear and function is perfect. Durability is undoubtedly better with Nightforce but for what I use my scopes for, Leupolds are plenty durable.

Vortex, life time warranty no matter who owns it! and a price point for everyone and even the lowend is very high quality!

8-32 Sightron, find them in the classified around $750.00, you'll have to spend over a grand for as reliable as performance, well over that for better glass.

The Meopta is in the same boat, both performance well above their pay grade!

STAC prices have more than doubled in less than two years at most retailers. So glad I bought both of mine in 2022 from Doug @ Cameraland NY. They're not made in commie china either.

Agreed. I had wholesale pricing when I bought numerous scopes. Think I paid well under 300 for both my 4-20 STACs.

I recommend shopping at EuroOptic. I have bought quite a few scopes from them and they ship and arrive faster than anyone else at same end price. ie next day arrival. Amazing.
Redhawk rifles also has decent deals on 'demo' or open box. They do this to be able to offer discount for brands that dont allow discounting. Cameraland can kiss my arse.
If you want to shoot long distance and hit where you are aiming at then get one with 1/8 moa adjustments. This thins down the pack considerably.
