Any particular reason why you won't sell to Ca?
Most of us have just given up trying to keep up with the ever changing laws in California making almost everything related to shooting sports illegal and subjecting anybody who ships the most recently banned item to felony charges and tens of thousands of dollars in fines. There is some new change almost every month, whether by legislative enactments, court rulings, or local government, and we don't want to be charged criminally for not being an expert on those weird laws, such as not declaring that every substance known to man causes cancer. We are sorry for our brothers trapped in the Peoples Republic of CA, but why risk getting in trouble by shipping anything to California at this point?

Thank You, perfectly stated.

It’s unfortunate that people make up such nonsense and others believe it. It’s not that difficult. Rifle barrels are a non issue.
It could be nonsense or it could become a reality.

I bought some primers from a local guy that had sold his Glock to someone here in Utah. The gun found it's way into California, and ended up being used to murder someone. He is being sued by the victims family in CA.

Gman has a valid reason for being cautious.

I’d be interested in the components when the barrel sells. Great caliber. Have two. Can I as why you’re going away from the 6.5?

I will get in touch with you when the bbl sells. I just like the plain jane 6BR for the ground hog matches that I plan on shooting this year.

Advantages of the 6.5x47 over a 6 BR based cartridge. I tried it, I know. Fatter hole, more recoil, uses more powder, louder, bullets cost more, not as inherently accurate so a bit harder to tune and last but not least, no real gain in fighting conditions.6BR based cartridges are made for midrange matches. Smart to rule out Californa. Hope you find a buyer.

You hit the nail on the head about the 6.5x47L. It's a nice cartridge, but I've had better luck with the 6BR. I thought about trying one of the "improved" versions of the 6BR, but I just like the simplicity of the plain jane BR.

Please leave comments about California out of it, I've been quiet but enough is enough.

GLWS
I'm not talking smack on CA, it's just that I'm not up on the gun laws in that state & I don't want to take any chances.

Would trade for a used McMillan, Manners, or Mesa Rem 700 ADL or BDL short action, sporter bbl hunting stock.
