Over the past 50 years, I’ve collected a considerable number of hunting, shooting, and outdoor books. Most authors are old time hunters like Jack O’Connor ( I have most of his books) Elmer Keith, Warren Page, Townsend Whelen, Paul Curtis, Jim Carmichael, Clyde Ormond, Grits Gresham, Julian Hatcher, Grancel Fitz, etc., etc. I also have a complete set of Gun Digests dating back to 1944. Also many Gun Digest Treasuries and Wolfe Library Classics Limited Editions. Most of my books are for the casual reader of outdoor literature and not collector, expensive, first editions or the like.
I collected many Outdoor Life and other magazines focusing on articles written by or written about Jack O’Connor and T. Whelen.
