Need help in selecting a trigger for a Panda Action

Hello, I need to know what would be a good choice for a Kelby Panda Action. Jewell has gone out of business and Bix & Andy don't make one for a Panda action. Any Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Panda actions take a Remington 700 style trigger. Even if the manufacturer doesn’t specifically list Kelbly Panda it should work for you. The two triggers I would consider with Jewell gone are Bix n Andy and Flavio.

Yes, as others have said, a Panda takes a Remington pattern trigger. They probably just list it that way as opposed to listing every single custom action out there that takes that same Rem pattern trigger. I know of no problems or reason to the contrary

Here's a couiple that might be worth a look:

Briefly’ what’s the difference between the triggers with and without the seat insert ?
The sear insert can be flipped around to change pin fall/cock on close. It’s equivalent to having two different trigger hangers. If you have an action with a trigger hanger you probably don’t need that one. If you want to alter cock on close/pin fall (aka “trigger timing”) you’d change out the hanger. They used to show pictures of it but they’ve changed it and don’t show it anymore at least that I can find.

Had this discussion with some highly ranked shooters recently , and it came down to the reality we all deal with at some point ....... Money ; or Cost of . If the cost of , isn't any issue , then it doesn't matter which of the forementioned triggers are chosen , but if that is part of the choice issue . Then it is relevant . After looking at all the available triggers for my Panda action , I chose to get the Shilen Competition trigger without a safety lever . It is a well - made trigger and has been used by many Top shooters to win Titles and set World records , so that's okay with me too .

Has anyone tried a XTSP Remington type trigger?
I have a XTSP trigger for my Kimber 82 Govt. It is by far the best trigger that I’ve ever used. It is a 2 stage trigger that has the first stage adjusted out and set for a 2 oz single stage pull. They are not inexpensive, I think I paid around $330 but it is a nice piece.

Never heard of it. Is that the brand? Still double the price of a Jewell but there's no more Jewell, so...

Before Jewell closed up, I looked at a Bix or FF triger much like a Seb or Raptor front rest. Totally unnecessary, expensive and probably won't make ya shoot any better than a Shadetree...but boy they're nice too. Lol!
