75 ELD on Pdogs in 22xc

YUP,. the 69's and 68's, ARE where it's,.. "at", IMO ! A nice blend of Velocity / Bullet weight and good, BC's !
I'm testing the 68 gr Hornady BTHP Match Bullets, this afternoon, in my 1-7 Twist, semi- auto "pea shooter"
( .223 Rem ).
Thinking it's, a good weight and BC to "Buck" the Idaho,. WIND and puncture,.. Yotes !
I think, it's a fairly "soft" Bullet with, a THIN Jacket, so "should", Expand,.. well !
I absolutely LOVE, my 6 XC and will build, a "Sporter weight", walk around Varminter, ( 1-9 TW ) in 22 XC,.. NEXT !

Sent to me by my customer that I chambered his barrel in 22xc. These are 69 grain sierra match bullets and r16.

All brass is 6xc from Tubb resized in a 6xc bushing die. I think he ended up with a 256.

Just getting started is right. Fire forming the brass with a powder that is not being used in anything I am loading and cheap bullets showed a lot of potential with .750 and under groups at 100 yards. The groups that was shot yesterday for load development were between .500 and .250 with one at .136 which is the top pic that urbanrifleman posted. These are 5 shot groups. The 2nd pic was a group that was shot at 200 yards at a club shoot today. Will follow up with more pics and info as testing continues. VERY VERY HAPPY so far.

After the brass settled in, the neck bushing that gave me .0015 neck tension ended up at .252.

Late response but called Tubb, they said nosering tool will be available in a month and cost $800!!!

Sheez i hope that's not the case. His video said about $250. Suppose I'd pay anything south of $300 or maybe even $350 to give it a try.

Much better on ground hogs than Prairie dogs. Not enough resistance with a small prairie dog. They destroy ground hogs.

It sure would be nice to hear some stats on bullet weights, loads, velocity. This looks to be a world class coyote round!

I Have had a few 22/250 AI's in 12 twist which are the Hammor of Thor on coyotes.

The long neck of the 6 XC WILL retard throat growth!

I picked up a 22cm today and thinking about a variation off the 22xc maybe in future or for a buddy that forms brass on a 22-250ai might be a decent swap

No, they did not shoot "well" for Me, so am trying, 69 grain, SMK's
So Far,.. much, "Better" !
My 1-7 twist Likes, 60 gr NBT's, 65 gr. Sierra Game Kings and 69 SMK's, so I'm close to Done, Testing Bullets in it.
Gonna go Play and Ring Steel plates with grandsons, this Winter from, Field Positions with, the 69 gr SMK's !

I use 108 eldm @ 3100. They blow em up good and I dont notice any ricochet. Im sure the 22 cal versions driven fast will work. I like the numbers on the 60 gr tmk but they are never in stock.
