Depends on what you mean by "same". I found the current lot of the new 1680 quite different from my old lot. Both in velocity and consistency. Time to retune.

I've never owned either... but getting a cartridge that "needs" it - I saw both labels and wanted a sanity check that they're the same thing....,

Maybe marketing has put out both labels, so the visual kids who go by emojis can buy either the rifle or handgun version.

They do make it confusing...




But yes, there is only Accurate 1680 and those labels cause confusion for folks when they see logos with pistols or rifles.
