My son has one on a 308 AR type. I was impressed enough to buy one myself. I have not mounted it because it is 30MM and I do not have rings yet. A lot of scope for the money. I shot 500 yard steel (12 inch) with impunty. I didn't even test the clicks, just used the hatched crosshair. Bang...ding. A lot of scope for that $
