This kind of HG gun build has been popular because it fits your LG bag setup and its not so heavy you blow a gasket hauling it. This one goes with a couple 6BRA barrels and a couple 300 WSM barrels.
Bat M, dual port. Action worked over, oversized shrouds fitted, ignition tuned and timed for both bolts.
LRB heavy fill stock inletted and bedded, gelcoat matched.
Bix n Andy tuned
Brux 1.450" barrels for 6BRA and 300 wsm

After shooting a 62 pound Maxi-Tracker in HG, I saw the light and built a HG to match my LG with a Bat M, in a ST-1000. This was back when McMillan would/could add lead to the stocks. I had five pounds added to the ass end, and with an 1.250 straight, it came in at 27 pounds.

Slide the LG out of the bags, slide the HG in, and you're ready to go. Sit there and relax while the other poor saps are sweating their ass off, when it's 90 degrees in the shade, hauling all their shit back & forth....

It allows me to get a cleaner ignition by reducing drag on the firing pin.
