Great job on your first try at bedding GlennK, that sure is a great shooting hunting rifle. I can only imagine how well a 25 caliber LRB rifle will do if Alex has his way with it.
Been thinking very hard about making a heavy 600 yard gun in 25x47L or something with just enough capacity to shoot the 133 at 2850fps. Nice thread Alex, thanks for sharing.

Others have run rl26 and n565 with success as well. I planned on starting with these 3 powders but quickloads was off on the volume and ended up over pressure. Went home and water weighed a case and came out much closer. 7828 was showing promise so ran with it.

We wont be pushing them much over 2900 in BR. They will have no problems doing that.

IF, you'd have left, the "Shank Portion" of the Bedding, ALONE with, using only, minimal "Hand clean up", w/ a Dremel tool,..you wouldn't have, that "Ding" in the stock, AND,.. the Rifle would, PROBABLY shoot,. better,..
( LOL ! ). Yes, I have, a DRY, sense of Humor !

Speed / energy…yes there is a diff….., but is it enough difference?
