Every time I read a post by Rick I scratch for 30 min.

Don't want to hijack - but - where do you scratch?

It doesn't give any specs. Still want to know how fast it will record

It records fast. Every shot on a PRS stage picked up easily. It was used extensively during a regional Finale by the PRS Director and other shooters this past weekend.

For example, one stage it was simply handheld up behind a shooter while they shot. It picked up every shot.

On another stage, it was placed on the ground at the base of the prop. Picked up every shot by the shooters.

Hopefully it won’t pick up neighbors shots in other shooting formats. I also hope this unit is a big success. A little competition never hurts.

I have an 'in' with a senior level friend at Garmin. Have an email into him. Will report back.

My friend didnt even know about this and he is a shooter! it is not even on their products page. Yesterday he spoke to some friends in the computer side and they had heard next week will be first delivery. But they didnt have any other knowledge like where they are made etc, but they assumed Taiwan. Garmin is such a huge company with 20k employees and divisions all over the globe that it's not easy even for a senior level manager to pry into the business of other divisions. I am on the 'employee and friends' wish list but no idea if this puts me on the preferred or hind tit.
