Huge improvement

Here’s is my question for those that use a collet die to apply bullet hold.
How does one monitor and duplicate the same hold from session to session ?
From my seat in the bleachers my set up likes a particular amount and if I vary a thousandth's it will show negatively on the target.
Not sure I fully understand the question. But the Lee collet die uses a collet to press the neck around a mandrel. The mandrel size doesn't change, so it will always set the same neck diameter, unless you swap the mandrel out.

There is no tool available to do that, so you have no means to duplicate it.
All you can do is be consistent as you can, with variables reduced as far as you can.

I just wasn’t sure how the collet system worked, now I know.

Just have to remember, there are body dies, std neck dies, reamed/honed neck dies, neck/bushing dies, neck/bump bushing dies and std FLS , reamed/honed FLS, and FLS bushing dies out there, they all have their uses, advantages or disadvantages, body style allows for the use of stuff like the collet die or a reamed neck die. No right or wrong one to be using really, just what turns your crank at the moment, and does what you want done at the time.
