@quest450 you be sure and equalize the load out of the camper for the trip home.
All that hardware could throw it off balance!:D
My friend I am so proud of all you accomplished this year. Your dedication to being the best of the best took a lot of work, time, travel and $$$$$$$$$$$$ and yet you have always been willing to share any of your "secrets". Hope to see ya' soon for more fired chicken and cold beer.

First of all I'd like to thank TomE and Sara for a great experience and putting up with us since Monday, I'd like to thank the rest of VT crew, David, Donna and Jason for great ran match even if the weather wasn't co-operating 100%.....you guys are awesome.
Congrats to all winners and especially it was an honor to shoot next to Mike Wooten throughout this memorable two day event
I really enjoyed hanging out with old friends that I've met in the last few years and making new ones, thanks to my Manatee buddies for all the support and Denise and Mikeeeee Lowitz for feeding us.
It was one of the most memorable weekends of my life and I'm definitely living a dream one trigger pull at a time.

Thank you all and God bless America !

To put this in perspective, here are a few numbers. Mark came out on top after 86 top notch competitors, from all across this beautiful country, burned up about 98 pounds of powder, sending about 17,200 bullets down range at 1,376 targets. His set of 16 targets ended up being the best set out of those 1,376!

Congratulations to you Mark, it was an awesome display of marksmanship and humility!

It was a pleasure to shoot with everyone and I hope to see everyone at a match in the near future.

Thanks again to Tom, Sara and the entire crew at Vapor Trail.

Dave.

Here is all the winners in a group photo, you guys showed out, great shooting!
I always take time to get photos, I would have liked to separate out classes, but honestly we were crunched on daylight, and I know a lot of shooters need to get on the road, life goes on Monday morning.
My apologies

Thanks to everyone that attended you guys made it work on your end, easy transitions relay to relay, 28 times a day
And our target crew and stats folks rocked it as well.

Thanks to all involved in making it a great match

Sara Jacobs
Judee Jacobs
Shannon Guile
Lauren Girdner
Jody Hullinger
Corbyn Powell
Gavin Stockman
Ru Pollard
Joanie Williams
Skip Jacobs
Margaret Scott
Jason Walker
Dave Matthews
Donna Matthews
Denise Lowitz
Mike Lowitz
Gary Smith
Richie Butler
Ronnie Milford
Jason Chancey
And a huge thanks to all the sponsers involved!
You folks put out the goods to make it the best prize table I have ever seen at a Benchrest Nationals.
If I dropped the ball anywhere, it was getting more pics of the prize drawings, but after the weather event we had on Saturday we were pushed for time, rain and lighting were not our friends.

Also a huge thank you for all the food that was cooked from Monday to Monday , unless you have ever been here to a big event, it’s hard to put in writing, we ate like kings!
Two smokers running daily,
Brisket, ribs, beef tenderloins, smoked salmon, fresh gulf shrimp, ribeyes for everyone.

This place has become what I dreamed of a long time back,
A place to gather with like minded folks, cut up, and enjoy getting away from the grind, throw in a lil shooting and you have a recipe for a great time.

I wish in that dream, I had thought about having calm conditions , it must of been stormy that night!

Thanks again

The end of a run, start of a new beginning!

This is everything we look for in a Match. Friends, great food, and the absolute best shooters in the world. It was truly a group effort, as orchestrated by Tome and Sara. The result being a week/weekend of shooting, laughing, eating and maybe even a headache or two. Looking forward to any match at the Valley. Congratulations to all of the badass Trophy winners, but everyone in attendance was a winner.
Come on Rendezvous 4.0!!!!

I'd like to say thanks to Lilja Barrels @Hoodoo for the meal.
Carson makes a great barrel and is usually one of the first to climb on supporting a match.

A big thanks to Hornady as well, seems they are always early to step up as well.

I'd like to thank RCBS for the Rock Chucker Supreme I won in the raffle.

I'll be sending emails to these folks as well.

Something I'll float out there then walk away.... I'm not going to harp on it for months to come.

If every shooter put some effort into getting sponsorships, prizes, added money etc we can make these prize tables all the better.

None of us are in this for the money or we'd have picked something else to begin with but it will only get better through our efforts.
Few are even aware of what we're doing.
Very few that do will reach out and step up.
People usually have to be asked.

I looked outside the box for the Rendezvous added money. People within the shooting community get asked a lot and often.
One way to think about it is ask people who value what you do for them and it's pretty easy pickin's.

To everyone who emailed a thank you to those Rendezvous supporters I thank you, they were surprised and grateful.

Edit:
This is not to say the prize table was lacking at this event. I think it was the "deepest" I've seen yet and in no way meant that in this post.
