Might be touch too much case capacity from what i read. Guys are playing with 6.5 prc case necked to 7mm and it seems to show promise

No it isn't. There are better options. As Orr89rocz stated, its case capacity and recoil are excessive. It's a hunting cartridge, not a precision/competition cartridge. The 7-6.5 PRC/7 PRCW, 300 WSM, 7 SAUM are being used by many top F-Class Open shooters. The .284 Win. and variants are popular as well. Joe Fairley is shooting a 7 Sherman Max. Bryan Blake at F-Class Products offers a 6.5 PRC variant he calls the 7 FCP as well.
