yesWas that with the 110 vmax ?
I figured as much they are a very accurate pill and most pepole I coach do very well with them .
thanks. i thought i just sucked at reloading. i see all these tiny groups online and most of the time i have heck getting to 1 inch. lol!IF the load is repeatable then your testing is done !
It's not easy to get 1/2 moa with a hinting rifle chambered for a bigger cartridge.
I have a 300 winmag for hunting,,.. and the thing jumps like a crazy bronco whenever I pull the trigger.

after a while reality set in. im not a bench rest shooter. im a hunter. 1-1.5 inches will do just fine. now instead of stressing i just have fun with it.
this group was kind of a fluke. non of the others with that powder and bullet were even close, this load really wanted speed. i loaded a batch and plan on doing some more target shoot30'06
ill keep that in mind.30'06 with the 165 Interlock's I would definitely give H-4831sc a try. I guarantee you it will shoot sub moa with that powder.
Edit: H-4831sc might be a tad too slow burning for the 165 gr bullets, but a compressed load of 62 gr is gonna be Near MAX and get you over 2,800 fps.
That's if you're loading them at 3.250" COAL with the 165 HornyDay BTSP # 3045
If you're loading the 165 gr SST, they're longer than the BTSP and you'll need to load the at 3.340" COAL.
I found both bullets in different cartridges work perfectly inside 400 yards. I even used to use the factory hornady 123 gr SST (7.62x39) in one of my SKS's for brush hunting and they were superb. I'm sad because Horrrornaday doesn't load them anymore. They were EXTREMELY accurate in my 1954 SKS I used to hunt in the thick bush with.
ill keep that in mind.
i loaded the 165s to a coal of 3.23 with h4350 and fiocchi primers. best group was 1.5 with 54 grains. that being said the seccion was rushed because i had weather rolling in. it actually started to rain on the last group. in reality i need to reload and shoot the ladder but components are hard to come by, ESPECIALLY h4350! not to mention im down to 300 primers and no fiocchi anywhere to be found. i habe alot of loads that were worked up with them.
new loads will be developed with win primers because thats what i have on hand.
the speer 200s did ok. i got a 1 inch group with 56 grains of h4831. i figure all of the above are good enough for whitetail at 1-200 yards.
that $50 hazmat tho.Powder Valley has H4350 in stock and on sale right now. Order today before it's gone again.

It does, but if you don't flinch at the trigger pull the bullet is long gone from the bore before you experience the kick. Bag manners matter!IF the load is repeatable then your testing is done !
