So, she swore to abide by the Constitution and uphold the rule of law, but now states flatly she believes the oath means nothing and she's got no responsibility or duty to do those things.
Dung comes in many flavors, apparently.
I guess we shouldn't be surprised, given the cess pool such people have created in the U.S., via deliberate ditching of the foundation principles upon which this country is built.
She believes defiance of the edict equates to $5000 fine per instance? Fine. Then, 2.1M citizens in NM being offended by a governor caught in flagrante delicto via stripping them of their civil rights. At $5K a pop, for 2.1M people, that's $10.5B in fines that should be leveled against this Governor. Personally ... not forcing the people of NM to cover that offense.
Let her choke on that.
Where's the stash of tar, feathers and rails? I suspect NM citizens are going to need a bit of each, the way things are going.

The anti-gun left has been pushing the "public health emergency" for a while now. As far as I know this governor is the first to try it out. Every State has a natural disaster / public health emergency law. One person, the governor, can declare the emergency and in most States it lasts for 30 days, some are longer. After that their legislature has to agree to extend it. Several cities have the same kind of law.
We saw this law tested, and abused, during the covid crap. In a city near us, the assembly would not extend the emergency order so the mayor made minor modifications to the wording and re-issued it, over and over for a year!
Folks MUST read the law for their state and after their eyes are opened fight like hell to change it. The law gives the governor and/or mayor king like powers. In our state the law gives the governor the power to remove you from your home and put you in a facility for the good of the public. It allows the governor, and in one city the mayor, the power to commandeer private property for government use. The mayor I mentioned above demanded that the large corporations in the city hand over their PPE supplies to help the city fight the covid "epidemic".
All the ranting, chest thumping and other civil disobedience is just BS. You'll be put down faster than a rabid dog. First go read your state/cities law. Every one of them is online. Then start a campaign to get it changed. Sadly most of the saber rattlers will have some cop out excuse and won't do shit to try and make it right.

Everything I read on all the shootings was they were done by people who wasn't even supposed to have a gun.... Not law abiding carry people like myself or others that carry daily.... All they have done is remove guns from law abiding citizens and make it so they can't defend themselves against criminals.... Even knowing this tw$t says the constitution isn't absolute she is absolutely WRONG.... Shall not be infringed means exactly that and was put into place just for government like this...

There will be plenty more incidents like this coming if not a massive terrorist attack.... If their catching known criminals and terrorists coming blatantly across the border how many didn't want to get caught or were just getaways or actually put some effort into not getting caught.... Keep your head up folks it's only a matter of time at this point...
Doing so would indicate that the average citizen/voter/taxpayer has the power. They do not.
It always sounds good though.
What pisses me off is that NO ONE has the balls to play by the rules they made !!!
