RE: Benchrest Central

I joined the Benchrest Central forum in October '21 and my account is still waiting approval by admin, anybody know what gives?
I'm able to log in and read but that's it, I can't post, reply or look at thumbnails.

There was a time where Elmer wasn’t approving new requests or doing anything with the forum it seemed. Since then the software has been updated and the new account approval is automatic. Abandon your current account and sign up again and I’ll bet it goes through. I accidentally got locked out of my original account and could never get it fixed so I tried to create a new one that ended up in limbo like yours. I created another new one after the recent software update and it went through fine.

been there, and done that...twice.
In addition to ignoring an application and a direct email to "an administrator", all I hear is crickets.
Even worse , two different security programs warm me that BRC has malicious scripts and to avoid opening parts of it.
I have moved on.
