You should always anneal before sizing. When to "punch" the primers really doesn't make any difference. So, if you like "punching" the primers as you size, then do that after annealing.Do you guys punch primers before annealing, or anneal, then size and punch primers afterwards?
Somewhere along the line I started punching first (without sizing), but that just adds another step to the process. I use a Bench Source.
You forgot the powder!Deprime on a Lee, brush the necks, anneal em, run a brush through the necks again, size em, mandrel em, prime em, slip a bullet in em, Shoot em !!!!!!!
Glad I have nothing better to do.
I sure did do that...I'll go fix that...You forgot the powder!![]()
I do not understand why anyone would decap in their good loading press with all the hard abrasive material that comes out of the primer pocket.Decap first, annealed, size
Decapping on a separate press keeps my main press clean, worth the extra step
I clean fist before decapping, any debris in flash hole gets pushed out with primer.I do not understand why anyone would decap in their good loading press with all the hard abrasive material that comes out of the primer pocket.
First deprime then clean.
