Your handle fits you like a glove bub!I live in a house my Grandad built!… most people’s chicken coops are nicer!…. I drive a 91 Dodge, have a 86 5th wheel but my powders shelves are full!…..

Years ago, I switched from H4350 to RL16 due to lack of availability. With recent events what they are, I have three other powders that I have tested as a backup plan. One of them is a ball powder which I don't trust the temperature sensitivity. The other is extruded with good temperature stability, but velocity will be down a little, and I'm okay with that. I have not tested the third. For those that haven’t payed attention, Powder Valley is out of stock currently on R16 at $43.50-$324. Watch how this price will jump when it be available again. Probably $60-$469.
What's your limit Bill? I'm thinking out the door at a LGS I'll go as high as $50.00 for 1 pound of powder. And that's only for testing purposes. I normally don't buy my powder in 1 pound increments. In my lifetime I've bought a total of 3, 2 IMR3031 and 1 AR Comp. All 3 under $30.00 a pound each out the door.
Bill, I noticed you didn't answer my question.Well, I have plenty to last for years to come, same for large/small primers but I did buy 2 lbs of Power Pistol and a pound of AA # 2, all still sealed, earlier this year at a local club trade day for $20.00 each.

$25.00, no. With close to 35 lbs. of different pistol/rifle powder, 30K + primers and being 69 YO, I think I'm pretty well set on components. Long time reloaders that were around when obongo was leaving his stenchBill, I noticed you didn't answer my question.
So here is another question, did you start this thread just so you could have a pissing match with other forum members that do not share your particular opinion? I see it that way. I bought plenty over the years at better prices and can shoot for years like you. I still buy, but I don't buy Alliant. So with that being said, what kind of a putdown do you have for me?

in the west wing and didn't learn to stock up for hard times down the road get no sympathy from me for being caught short when the plandemic came about.
There is no way I would start in this hobby under the current conditions.
