I Phone Listening?

OK. This is off subject but, I gotta tell somebody. While fixing up my garage/loading room I found myself needing some small metal washers. Hollered at my daughter and told her I was going to Lowe's for some washers. At Lowe's, I couldn't find the particular washer I needed. An employee walked by and I asked for help. So, before I went to bed I checked my computer for emails and stuff. Lo and behold my home page was full of ads for washers! Every time I went to a new page the "washer" ads would pop up. I told my daughter what was happening and she just laughed and said, "I'm telling you, Dad, these phones listen to our conversations". Has anybody else had this experience? Weird!

PS
The ads are still here this morning.

Of course it's listening.

I was at work one day and I told the guys I worked with that their iPhones were listening to them all the time. They of course laughed and said I didn't know what I was talking about. And I said to them how do you think Siri hears you idiot? It's listening to you.

Just do an experiment anytime you want. Especially if you have Facebook app on your phone. Just pick an obscure subject or product and start talking about it. Say, I sure would like some peanut butter cookies! Boy I sure do love peanut butter cookies. Peanut butter cookies are my favorite.

Just watch your Facebook feed fill up with ads for peanut butter cookies.

Of course your phone is listening to you and that data is being mined and sold. Those companies are not only listening to you they are taking that information and putting it in huge server farms to create files on each one of us.

I'll tell you another thing about data mining from these phones. Here in Tulsa there's a new project that's going on with the Israeli defense Force, and one of the billionaire oligarchs from the area, they are specifically working on data mining as a product. The intention being in the future that this will be a huge commodity. Selling information. Not only consumer information but personal information. Everyone will want to buy this information. Everyone will use it. That includes governments, law enforcement, the military, corporations, social media, etc

All perfectly legal. I guess George Orwell knew what he was talking about.

i know everyone that uses the net is assigned a specific number. this is how they offer to sell us things across different web sites. they can put receivers on shelves and receive our cell phone signals and know its us and match that with the number so they know its you and can see youve been shopping for that item on the web. then they can offer you a coupon for it. its no stretch to think they could use voice recognition to tie in with all this.
and to think- weve given them permission to do all this.

You wait, the libtards get farther along in their agenda and you will see people being hauled off to jail with recordings of "terrorist threats" that were said in the privacy of their own home talking to their wife. They will be dumbfounded by a recording and say, "how did they get that"!! Well on 5/24/? your Alexa #%%% recording at 8:15 pm, you saying this message"xxxxxx"!! Mean while outside every antifa, black lives matter, and rainbow flag toten pos will be burning your city and towns to the ground and no one gives a flying rats ass bout that because that pushes THEIR agenda. Rant over!

If me and my wife talk about a product, it can be casual conversation, or talk about buying, or talk that “I’m interested in….”, the next thing you know we get ads on IG and FB. They are definitely listening. Who are they? I have no idea if it’s A.I. or what but it’s spooky. We keep our phone cameras coverEd up with a sticky you can get on Amazon just for covering cameras on your phone or iPad.

Right now I have to have a smart phone for work, no way around it but when we slow down and retire we will simplify life and get rid of the smart phones. I get tired of always being available anyways.

You can watch you tube on tips to modify the settings on your smart phone that supposedly limit or eliminates the ability to listen in or see through your camera, if you believe that. A faraday bag would probably help with that too. I’m too lazy to deal with it so I’ll tolerate this BS until I can distance myself a bit from modern technology.

It's obvious that my wife's Ipad listens based on the pop ups after conversations about obscure topics. I do not trust ANY electronic device. And C Wray just admitted the FBI purchases digital records for individuals, which record and trace your every movement, all without a warrant.

Why I turn off Siri and personalized ads etc. Apple also has an app privacy report you can enable to see which apps are using your data.
