Perfectly setting headspace, Shilen alternut (aka Howage) Howa 1500

I'm installing a new 6mm BR barrel on a trued up action and bolt. Bolt was already bushed by carlsbad here on the forum a couple of years ago so this is it's second barrel as I plum wore the other out.

Over the weekend I made some brackets using the action wrench and one of the mechforce barrel vices (Which is useless for removing a barrel off a howa btw) but will hold just fine for this purpose so now I can tighten the barrel nut with zero movement.

On to my question, with the firing pin, ejector and extractor removed should I have zero resistance closing the bolt or just a tiny bit just enough to feel it but not have to push it closed. Right now I have zero resistance (Meaning I can let go of the bolt handle and it just falls all the way with zero contact in the chamber) and using .001 tape my handle will stop at about 2:30-3:00 position.

I'm probably being nit picky but I am anal retentive about things and need it perfect or my OCD will kick in.
