Let's snivel about the heat.

Low to mid-nineties here. We just finished up the Canadian Metallic Silhouette Nationals, where I shot very poorly. Very windy yesterday, but the temp was pleasant enough. Plenty o' mirage.
Butch,
For cryin' out loud! Be careful! Not to put too fine a point on it, you're too old to be splashing around in a pond. WH

Sorry Arizona.....you make up for it when we get record snow fall and below freezing temp for weeks on end.....garden is a month late and the first crop of hay isn't any good. Just saying..

I grew up in Eastern NC and later worked in Fla where in both we spent all day in the sun, with an occasional dip in the river or ocean to cool off. Age remedies the love for the heat, which I passed long ago. Luckily our range has cover for shade, and multiple large fans for the benches. This may be my last year shooting Fclass, 22 bench rest is looking very attractive!

Your battling the heat and I'm battling the rain. It been raining almost everyday for going on 4 weeks, Yesterday there was no rain but my grass needs cutting and the ground is saturated and the grass is over a foot long so mowing was out of the question. Bought an old school square body ramp truck and worked on that a whole day yesterday but It just started raining again 20 minutes ago so working on that outside is out of the question. Rain is forecast off and on for this entire week. I'll take the heat over this damn rain.

96° here today with 80% humidity. Sweating doesn't do a darn thing but get your clothes wet.

My FIL swears by wearing 3 tee-shirts in the summer. Personally I think his time in Vietnam has affected him in subtle ways along with the obvious ones.

It'll be over 100 in a couple of weeks. Humidity will still be at or above 70%. That'll be the norm for 6-8 weeks.
I love the DRY HEAT... NOT...LOL it all sucks but that humidity just double sucks

I keep to myself so I never respond to posts like this but...Imagine if you were getting shot at with these types of weather. I concur with your FIL. I wear a T-shirt and long sleeve shirts all summer long.

Well the Texas heat has been pretty brutal so far. We got a break these next few days 80s and 90s.
I need a pair of sham wow underwear to wick this moisture away while I'm shooting.
Have about 5 pairs of these ..... amazing in the SC heat and humidity!!!

I make my schedule around the weather. Time for pistol reloading and stock work in my cool shop! We have high humidity here in Delaware. I’m soaked with sweat after blowing off the patio for ten minutes. ( My wifey’s orders) I feel fine in Texas when it’s a dry 100.
Here, it’s miserable!
