I bought them and contacted Midway. They would not tell me what brand for reloading purposes.

Ah! Good snag! I bought some 123 grain .310 seconds, last fall. Wishing I bought more.
Sierra data will work fine. Lot’s of 3031 around. I loaded a bunch of Berry 150s for plinking. The jacketed 150 shot better in my Winchester and Marlin.

I load Speer 150 grain hot core for my 30/30s, haven't been able to buy them in 2.5 years. i did find them once for twice what i used to buy them for and shipping was way more than any normal vendor.

I bought some of those from RMR for half that price earlier this year. Larry can get his grandkid's college tuition from somebody else.

I use the speer 130s in my 30-30 when using jacketed, but the 30-30 is a great rifle for cast. That's where the best bullets are found.
