AR15 wont fire

New to AR15 building built one about a year ago took it to the range and first 10-15 shots were fine then it would not fire any ammo I tried.
The same ammo will shoot fine in a Colt AR. i looked the bolt JP Enterprises and firing pin over they appear to be fine. There are NO marks on the primer after trying to fire

Any ideas why it wont fire?

Reloaded ammo or factory rounds?

Did the round fully chamber and was the trigger able to release?

If the Firing pin isn't striking the primer I would further inspect the bolt and cam pin to make sure it is clean and free of obstructions. Maybe also make sure the FP is in spec and can protrude far enough out of the bolt face.

If that all checks, I would look to the chamber and/or resizing spec of the ammo.

Not much of an AR 'expert', but the bolt head needs to rotate fully before it will allow the firing pin to reach the primer. Are you certain it is?

If the bolt is locking into place and the trigger releases the hammer and it is not firing and the primer shows no striking by the firing pin, then your fire pin assembly probable broke i.e. the tip seared off.

If the firing pin retaining pin is in front of the firing pin (put in before the firing pin) it would not fire. However most likely the firing pin would then fall from the BCG during handling.

Look for debris in the bolt. Dis-assemble it and clean/inspect.

Check headspace, If its long, It can cause misfires.

There is so much here, but if you assembled it, you understand the basic function checks? Safety, trigger reset, goes into battery, mag lock/release. If all are normal/correct than check your bcg.
