Pacific 366 progressive shot shell press

Does anyone have experience with one of these? I have a neighbor that’s moving, and has been setting lots of stuff next to the community dumpster. The other half saw it and brought it home if I would have an interest.

good press really. Mine has loaded a crap ton back in my trap and skeet days. same press as hornady 366 so all the parts are available still.

I bought the Hornady 366 back in 96. Loaded a lot of trap shells, and some for hunting. Nice press, just have to pay attention to what you are doing- like anything else.

We had one, it was my brother's. I used it once but preferred my MEC Jrs.
The 366 worked just fine but took up too much space, with the MECs I could switch from 12 to 16 to 20 gauge, as I had one in each gauge.

Got 1 currently, at one point had 2. One set up for 12 ga, 1 set up for 20 ga. Never had any issues with mine. As mentioned 8 things happening at once (if you are using the full sizing die) and 3 things don't always go correctly. Easier to catch it when it happens. Can turn out a lot of shells in a short time period.

I have them in 12 , 20 and 28 ga. Have loaded a lot of shells on them with minimum problems . i average 12-14 boxes loaded an hour

I bought mine in the 80s and it’s still going strong. A few years ago I broke a small spring and called them to order. I half expected them to say it’s no longer available, but instead they wouldn’t take payment or let me pay for shipping.

I owned a 366 years ago, and loaded a ton of trap loads on it. Good machine, but you have to pay attention
or it's easy to have shot and powder all over the bench. Like any progressive press, it takes a little time to
get used to. Then you can make a boatload of shells, if you can afford the components nowadays.

Great press! I have two 12 gauge ones with a 20 gauge conversion. There are a few really nice aftermarket upgrades available for them.
