Washington State Gun Law Concerns

DON'T Kid yourself Your Neighbors, are NOT,.. the,."Norm"
You just got,.. "Lucky" as "some" are good, others NOT so much and will Bleed, the Resources of our State.

Gotta disagree. I haven't come across any liberals at all with the people that have lived here in the last two years. Now I have come across a bunch of people who came here specifically to live in a dark red state.

Also, with the cost of housing here, we are not getting people who need state resources to make it.

The Govenor's little speech prior to signing the ban law, was so far out in left field, he sound ignorant of what a Assault gun was, and went on his rant of how no one needs a AR-15 because all it does is shoot bullets fast and kill people. If that isn't a facist speech, what is it ? Totally violates the 2nd Amendment and the rights of lawful people, and does nothing to stop the criminal from further attacks and injury/murder to others.
He sound like now murders will stop in Washington. Just wait and watch when crime rates go up instead.

Economics play a role in trying to leave. Many of us are trapped economically and have to wait for the courts to restore our rights. If California is any predictor, it's going to be 7+ years until we can live free again on these 3 bills alone.

Anyone have need for an aerospace auditor in a free state?
This!
Thankfully there’s solid SC precedent to possibly quash this new BS.
Washington State attorney general is actually writing gun legislation for other “regime” states.

Huntsville Alabama was first place that came to my mind also

Arizona isn't lost yet, it wouldn't take very many solid conservatives relocating to flip this state back to solid red from wussy purple
Nope, AZ is turning ever more blue, as the hordes fleeing Kalifornia are protecting their wealth and safety, but bringing their liberal voting habits with them. As happened in Maricopa County so it has happened to Clark County, NV, and is now happening in Ada County (Boise) Idaho. Western red states with a dominant rapidly-growing urban center are turning purple then blue.

might be mis-direction. i worked with a guy in east TN that was fresh from boston. first thing he did was buy a pickup and put a rebel flag plate on the front. said he thought the locals wouldn't notice his accent quite so much.

No.

I realize it sucks if you are a local and housing prices get driven up out of your ability to buy, but that is the nature of things. It happened in my hometown as well.

Many here are stuck in the dynamic of 50 years ago when liberal Californians started fleeing CA and ruining everyplace they went. Those are not the people who are fleeing today.

Think about it. What liberal wants to live in a dark red state where abortion for convenience is illegal, 60% of the population owns guns, and trannys aren't exactly welcomed with open arms. Virtually everything they believe in is voted down and ridiculed.

I know it gives some comfort to think that all places are going the way of CA over time, but that ain't happening here.....

I live in Ohio and so far, so good. But then again I'm pretty much disconnected socially so maybe I'm not aware.

We do have what is refered to as the I-71 Corridor. I-71 traverses the state in Southwesterly direction and the interstate goes through Cleveland, Akron/Canton, Mansfield, Columbus and Cincinnati. Along this corridor many, many people vote blue while the rest of the state is reliably red.

One thing I do see is that state wide the public education system (and to a large extent the private system) is saturated with what I would call post-modernism and all that entails.

There, the enemy has firmly established a beach head.

Texas has never been as red as Idaho. The democrat party ruled Texas for many years. It's a different dynamic in Idaho. Snow is the great CA liberal blocker......
You got that right Brother’ I hear it all the time how a nice couple from Cal used to live there but couldn’t handle -20 to -40 temps and bailed out.
