Washington State Gun Law Concerns

Minimal comment from me. I've had threads and posts deleted due to the fact that my opinion results in potential problems for the site. I think you all know how I feel though. Please save a spot over in America for those of us suffering under the oppression of the modern collectivists. No difference from any of the famous collectivists of the past like Mao, Lenin, Stalin, Pol Pot and Mussolini. Same shit, different day. In the US though.

Like Pol Pot? Huh? That’s pretty nuts

Here's just a sample of the " conservative "
2005 Flathead county murder rate was .46 a year, last August there was 10 in county jail for homicide.

I have a good friend since childhood. He moved to the Atlanta area for his career. Then, he didn’t want his kids going to school in that area so he transferred to the Seattle area. He’s been there ten years.

He just closed on a house back in Georgia and is in the process of putting his Washington home up for sale and moving. It’s because of laws like this and in general the high cost of everything you need to live, high taxes, red light cameras absolutely everywhere. I haven’t been there in five or six years but he says the changes have really accelerated in the last couple of years. Says downtown Seattle is basically boarded up.

The seniors that use to live around the lake union/ downtown area have been forced out and now live under the bridges along I-5 and I-90 with the drug addicted getting free dope and needles. Garbage is plentiful along those same freeways from Seattle to Spokane.

In your experience do the “escapees” assimilate and vote correctly or recreate the problems they fled? Are they Idaho conservative or like conservative light?
I don't know enough of them to make a good "Call", sorry.
I do fear that, some of the escapee's want,..some "Change's" and aren't smart enough to, discern what's "Good" about, Idaho.

So to my surprise I have seen the NRA mentioned in conjunction with one of these suppression of Constitutional rights events within a state. Seems the NRA and the second amendment foundation have filed lawsuits. This is the first time in a very long time that I have heard of the NRA getting involved. The question is, how many decades will it take to reach the SCOTUS.

I don’t know why people who are so unlike minded can’t just separate and do their own thing.
I have long thought that conservatives, by our nature, like to do just our thing and be left alone and liberals by their screwed up thought process have to find strength in masses to confirm their beliefs. When they group together they then think they are righteous and the world should behave their way. And then they breed..

Gun laws are like the government saying you run to fast. So we will cut one of your toes off. When you heal up and it doesn’t hurt anymore we will cut another one off. You won’t feel it soon and you will forget about it soon. Then they snip another one off. You can still walk and you still get around ok. Pretty soon are your toes are gone and your legs are gone because they slowly over the years keep taking a little more each time. Same way they plan to take away your guns from you.

The sad thing being that those who do that are our employee's. Nothing more. The stark reality of that being that it is our employees who are the ones who are trying to disarm us. People who vote for them are far to ignorant or stupid to realize it. Either that or they are filled with evil intent and we all know what comes next.

Puiblic letter about a lawsuit from Aero Precision and others impacted businesses in Washington. In addition to the NRA and the Second Amendment foundation lawsuits. Please give these people your business.

April 26, 2023

Tacoma, WA - Due to the passage of House Bill 1240 by the Washington Legislature and Governor Jay Inslee signing it in to law on 4/25/23, Aero Precision has filed a lawsuit in conjunction with several other plaintiffs to combat this overreaching legislation, seeking temporary and permanent injunction based on the unconstitutionality of this law.

The case was filed on 4/25/23 in the Eastern District of Washington, U.S. District Court. Plaintiffs include Aero Precision LLC , Amanda Banta (2012 Olympian Sport Shooter), Sharp Shooting Indoor Range & Gun Shop, The Range LLC, and the National Shooting Sports Foundation. The complaint is filed against defendants Robert W. Ferguson, Attorney General of Washington State, and John R. Batiste, Chief of the Washington State Patrol.

“We do not agree with this law and we do not think it is constitutional,” said Scott Dover, CEO of Aero Precision. “HB1240 bans some of the most common firearms and parts available. It impacts the lawful ownership of products we manufacture and sell to thousands of our customers in the State of Washington. It also restricts the rights of the individuals, Aero Precision employees, who make these parts. We will fight this law in the courts and are confident in the outcome given the clear rulings in multiple Supreme Court cases, including Heller and Bruen.”
