Help pick out a Case trimmer for br brass

The first thing to do is get a Sinclair chamber length gauge to determine how long the neck area of your chamber actually is. Without doing that, you're just guessing from some random number.

Whoever chambered your barrel should have provided that info from the reamer print. But even with that, it's best to determine it on your own.

If the length of the case is within the chamber measurement, is it necessary to trim?
For ultimate Bench Rest accuracy, the answer is Yes. Maximum accuracy demands consistency, consistency demands Trim Every Time. For other types of shooting, trimming could be considered less important. Hunting rounds, for instance, can be trimmed only when the fired case extends into the chamber lead. I trim every time, because it doesn’t cost much, and I don’t mind doing it. A level of precision I can do. In most cases, the simple trimmers will do…don’t have to go crazy with it.

Are short range BR competitors that load at the range trimming after every firing?

I can only assume that those who want to do, and those that don’t want to don’t?

Perhaps another question could be, “has anyone proven on target that NOT trimming improves accuracy” ???
Only results I have seen described by Jack Neary in a video was that his testing showed accuracy improved by trimming to a uniform length in his PPC brass and Erik Cortina agreed with him on the subject. So, I suppose we could assume the opposite would be a fact as well.

It was actually a serious question. You stated that trimming was necessary for ultimate benchrest accuracy, so mistakenly assumed that you might have some insight that I did not possess. I seriously doubt that any reasonable person would presume not trimming to improve accuracy.

Sorry, was not making light of Your question. Not trimming means one is willing to accept different neck lengths. Perhaps some shooters feel this doesn’t matter. I will conclude by saying, I see no reason why I shouldn’t trim.

What is the Wilson case holder for 6 bra, 22 bra,?
I think I know, just not sure.
If I get a Wilson case trimmer, I need the
Case holder, I assume if I get the 6br case holder for the 6bra?

See, that right ther. Has got me wondering if I need to anyway.
How do you make a chamber cast?
That's what your talking about right?
To find the chamber max length?
There's a way without messing with Cerrocast. Brownells should have Sinclair chamber length measuring plugs that seat into your piece of brass. Simple to use and all required is shortening the neck to the required amount for room for the plug to move. Look them up.

Since you do not have a trimmer yet, you can grind the necks back because they do not have to be perfectly squared. You will end up with a gap between plug rim and neck mouth. Just finish off and chamfer. I already had a Wilson trimmer at the time I did mine.
