Groups - Thoughts?

I finished the Dasher build and took it to the range. Used 108 Berger BT Target bullets, Varget, and Alpha brass, shooting at 100 yards to start to pick a load. I shoot groups, and don't depend too heavily on my chronograph at the moment. It's a caldwell, and using it last year made me second-guess it's accuracy based differences in elevation correction from a ballistics calculator. Any thoughts on these groups? I'm thinking I might try loads from Group 2 and Group 4 at a further distance to see what they look like. Two has less vertical dispersion...

I'd take a look at and test something from group 3 through 4 as theirs not much change in vertical location for the center of those two groups.

Without flags, it's pure speculation of why the groups formed the way they did.
I should add that a mirage board/ spotting scope will also give a definitive showing of what's really going on between you and the target.

I'd be, re-shooting, Loads / groups,.. 2, 4 and 5 on, a Calm Day
and use, 2-3 Fouling shots,.. before starting First group, IF using, a Clean Barrel.
Clean it back to, BARE Metal and use some JB's, Lightly to Speed up, the "Break In" process ( Re-Clean, thoroughly ! )

Remember that, MORE Powder, reduces,.. Vertical and
don't forget to, "play with", Bullet Seating Depth, also,.. WHEN, best Charge, is selected.
My 6 XC, likes, 107gr, SMK's and 108 gr. Berger Elite's with, "Lite Jam" ( approx. .010 Marks, all around, Bullet ).
1/2 a grain under, Max. Chg.
