Thanks to Brian ( @Bginvestor ) who took some time to modify his existing ammo block NEO adapter (seen here) - to work easily with the new NEO-X fold up design.

I think it will depend on your rifle and how close you want your ammo sitting next to the load port etc.

In my original pics - that gooseneck extension is 6". Some may find it to be just right. For me - it is a bit short but still functional. I prefer ammo a bit closer to the load port.

I was thinking a 9" extension would be perfect - like the one F Class John is using (9" boom) - but couldn't find a 9" flexible gooseneck.



The next popular size for a flexible gooseneck seems to be 13" - which is a bit long - so put a slight 'bend' to get it positioned next to the load port.

I have the 13” and I think it may be a tad long.
