Christensen Arms rifle trigger question

Got my son a new Christensen Arms 300 Win Mag rifle. Nice gun but the trigger pull is 4 lbs and it says it’s non adjustable. Hate to spend that much money on a gun to have to spend a couple hundred more for another trigger. Have not had a chance to take it apart yet but manual says it’s not adjustable. Has anyone adjusted these?
Thanks

You didn't say which model CA rifle, but my Ridgeline had a TT Primary trigger. It was adjustable down to 1.5lb.

I put a TT Special trigger on it, I still have the Primary trigger on my shelf.

It is the Mesa.
I can take some better pics tomorrow if needed. Going turkey hunting in the morning so about to hit the rack. Thanks guys!

Turn the small allen screw Dusty referred to counter clockwork to lighten the pull. You should be able to get a safe and reliable 2 lb. pull. Don’t go to far.

Both of my CA's(BA Tactical 300WM and MPR 338LM)came with TT "Field" triggers which I never bothered to adjust, ended up putting a Diamond in the MPR(adjusted down to 13 ozs.)and a Special in the BA Tactical(set at 1lb.).Not sure how low the Field model can be adjusted to,probably should have checked(may have saved myself $500:D).

I have never seen a triggertech firld trigger. I dont think thats a primary in there but it could be. Removing the action from the stock will show the instructions on how to adjust on the side of the trigger. Heres a “special” i had laying hereABE06084-6C88-4C93-80ED-F2069C13345D.jpeg

Was just looking at one and has "adjustable from 2.5-5lbs." printed on the side. Both rifles are 2-3 years old now and CA may have had a pile of them they wanted to unload at the time, definitely the cheapest factory TT trigger.

I had a TT Field trigger in my Ridgeline and could never get it adjusted to an acceptable weight and the safety didn’t have a stiff detent. Replaced it with a Special and it’s all better.

Guys, thanks for all the info. I pulled the stock off and the gun has a TriggerTech “field” trigger that goes from 2.5 lbs -5lbs. I got it down to 2.75lbs. Very smooth. I took the screw all the way out to get it to 2.5. It has “clicks” as you adjust. I put the screw back in and hit about 3 clicks in to hopefully ensure it won’t back out. As I write this I’m now thinking I’ll go put some nail polish on it to help it stay put. Appreciate the advice…I guess they were satisfying the lawyers when the manual said non adjustable.
Thanks!!

Now operate the bolt hard and fast to see if you get pin fall, also bang the butt on the floor after cocking.
If no pin fall your good to go.
