First elk hunt

After putting my daughter in for arizona elk the last few years, she drew a tag this year!. Got a limited opportunity hunt thats 1 month long. Got some scouting to do now before november. I hope we see a good one that she wants to take. Im leaving that up to her.

Thanks. I hope to have a good time. She is 17 now and hope to spend quality time as long as possible before she decides to move out. I have 3 daughters and she is the only one into this.

Congrats, hope she enjoys the experience! All three of my daughters enjoy hunting and were lucky enough to draw elk tags growing up. Its special time for a father and daughter to make memories in the woods, memories that last a lifetime. My oldest daughter is 33 now, she drew an Arizona late bull tag last year and another one this year. My wife also drew a late bull tag, I didn’t share their luck but enjoy taking them just as much. My father in law only took his boys hunting, little did he know the kid that enjoyed hunting and fishing the most was one of his daughters, my wife. He regrets that, watching her fill tags and tell him about her hunts I can tell he wishes he had a do over. Once again, congratulations, I hope you and her have a very memorable experience!

As in most of the mountain west....been a rough winter on wildlife

Heavy wet winter...most snow pack in 40+ years here in Utah

So much snow shed hunting postponed till April 30th

Thanks. We got 6 units to pick from. I was just up this weekend in Northern AZ close to where shes got. Lots of water and lots of snow still in Williams. Another storm rolling in middle of this week for more snow/ rian
