New primer manufacturing in FL

Found this over on castboolits. Apparently Grind Hard ammo wants to expand and begin manufacturing primers. Of course production is years down the road but maybe they will have excess of a top quality product to sell to the reloading public.

So what is this the second or third “Primer Plant “ in the last 12-24 months?
Not complaining gents, at all, actually wonderful!
But what have we got for powder?
I myself am highly concerned over “all the eggs in one basket” with our powder supplier.

TTE where are you? When i saw this it reminded me of what one of the disciples asked in a verse in the new testament, "Can anything good come for Indiantown?" I am wondering if this plant and company will ever sell any components to reloaders? I am sure what they produce for their own ammo is going to free up primers that they would be using. But I would be surprised if they sell any to the public.

This is great
Has anyone heard anything about the RedRiver primmer in Texas/Arkansas
Apparently there's some first production ones available. This guy did some testing on them.
He's done 5 different videos on his tests.

From his testing, they are not quite ready for prime time.

Wasn’t there an ammo plant on the table for Wisconsin or Minnesota?

Anyone have the real low down on St Marks, which powders exactly they make?

The old Hercules plant south and west of me about 25-30 minutes is now going to be some kind of battery plant for these “green” vehicles.
Doesn’t surprise me really, it is so close to Lawrence/KU, which is Kansas answer for California. Go down “Massachusetts” street you would think you were in Cali, don’t be surprised what ya see.

Work on the principle that with two exceptions, any 'ball-type' powder on sale in the US comes from the former Olin Corporation (now General Dynamics) St. Marks plant.

That is the sole type manufactured there - no extruded (tubular) grades. Every one of those is manufactured outside of the USA and imported.

The two exceptions are:

Ramshot grades (from Eurenco P.B. Clermont in Belgium).

Shooters World ball-type grades (imported from Explosia a.s. in the Czech Republic).

Here's a link to a Guns & Ammo feature on St. Marks' history:
