Farley Tensioners, Part, and Service

I thought I might bump this message in case some of you miss it back in February. It unfortunate I had to terminate my partnership with Alan. If you have tried to contact Alan with no response, please contact me, either by cell or PM through A/S. I am sorry to those of you that Alans lack of reply inconvenience, please accept my apologies.

Dusty,
There is no set price, it all depends on what is needed. Then there are upgraded parts like my tensioners, counter weight, and lock knob. There are other parts that will be available in time. It also depends on how far a customer wants to upgrade their rest. I know you have help a lot of people keep their Farleys going, thanks for that.

Ray,
It was unfortunate I had terminate things with Alan. Over the years he and I had become like family, there was never anyone I trusted more. He just stopped responding to people looking for parts or service and myself as well. Since he stopped shooting he just became less and less interested in doing anything related to shooting. I flew out to Georgia to seem him, since I couldn’t get him to call me. I hope things turn around for him, he was family to me.

some years ago i had joel kendrick tune up the farley. it was ready when allen done it.

a shame. for sure.

hopefully i will be doing it over winter. next winter.

Ray,
Sent you a PM, when ever your are ready let me know. We also change the 2 bearings for some special purpose bearings, they really smooth out the joystick feel.

If anyone still has a rest with Alan for service, please let me know when you receive it back or if you need any help. Once again my apologies for the inconvenience, the delays caused

Steve Hill,
Please contact me, the number I have for you is incorrect.

Do the bearings let the shaft rotate?
Joe
There is one round ball on the end of of the joy stick. The joystick will rotate. The joystick Handel doesn't have a big angle so the rotation moves are small but do help get you on target and/or get the stick away from trigger guard.

Joe,
There are a pair of bearings, one in rear plate the other is barrel that in the back of the rest. They allow the plates to move vertically and horizontally. With the joystick angled off to the side rotating the joystick will allow vertical movement.. If you are interested in having your rest service let me know.

Thank You,
Mark
