So Ruger couldn't help you in any way at all?Does anyone know where I can get a replacement firing pin spring for a Ruger Precision centerfire rifle (asking for a friend)?
(Already checked at Ruger... they don't sell them. Also checked Wolff springs, Anarchy Outdoors, PT&G.... no luck)
Apparently not from what my friend said, which was "they don't sell them".So Ruger couldn't help you in any way at all?
It's pretty well known they don't (won't) sell bolts and / or parts but if it's a failure issue I'd expect their service dept would be happy to handle it.Apparently not from what my friend said, which was "they don't sell them".
He told me he has 5000 rounds on the rifle, but had not measured the spring weight.
The are (next to) impossible to find. I did find one place; good price and fast shipping. https://www.mdsgunrepair.com/store/p1315/Firing_Pin_Spring,_Ruger_.htmlDoes anyone know where I can get a replacement firing pin spring for a Ruger Precision centerfire rifle (asking for a friend)?

Thank you. Apparently, MDGunRepair was for the Ruger American Rifle and not for the Ruger Precision. Anyway, my friend called Ruger back, and they said that in order to get the firing pin replaced he has to sent the entire rifle to Ruger. It is a "factory maintenance item". Yes, it is listed for the American Rifle - but it is the same part number (Ruger part number) for the American and for the Precision. I checked with MDGunRepair before I ordered, and they verified that it is the same part. Additionally, I installed the spring on the upgraded firing pin and cocking mechanism I ordered from Anarchy Outdoors, and it works great in my RPR 6.5CM.Thank you.
