Best drop tube for 6 mm br

Will o

Hunting guide
Hi anyone point me in the right direction for a decent drop tube for 6 mm br I’m using straws atm but not very solid to free stand

This has served me for decades. The metal tube is static-free.

(Forster funnel) This has worked well for me too for many, many years. (Note, the outlet end of the tube is a multi-calibre bell and does .22 upwards, so doesn't slot over the case-neck. Simply holding the bell on top of the case with light pressure sees it work fine without leakage, but not everybody likes this and you may prefer something with a more positive fit.)

Thanks Willie, but I shoot 103/105 grain bullets at 600&1,000yds, and H4350 is the wrong powder for that application. Just trying to learn something, so thanks for Your input :)
I shot a 6 br for quite awhile. Used everything from 105 hybrids to 110 smk using h4350. Did perfectly fine out to the 1225 yards on my range.

vibrating table..amazon unspecified powder charge...just filled to neck and ran for 30 seconds.

If I had to guess, I would estimate 37 plus grains in a 6BRA..H4350.

Culver's blue soda straw. I actually have a collection of different diameter soda straws. Now, not only does my wife think I'm strange. ;)

Willie, in reference to your post about the norma brass holding less than the lapua brass, I would be a little carefull with just packing the same load into the norma brass, usually a case with smaller capacity will develope a little more pressure thereby changing the way that load shoots, also, do not want to get into high pressure issues either, might want to start a little lower charge & work up accordingly, Just MY thoughts, which if added to $1.50, might just buy a cup of coffee, just be carefull

Hi yes you are correct I adjusted the load in norma brass to match the speeds in the lapua brass just over half a grain in the difference
