Shipping Ammo to NY State

I have bought ammo from Target Sports but the last order I was informed that effective Dec 1, 2022 all ammo must go to an FFL. Called to cancel my membership and talked to a representative and she confirmed. I am wondering if that will include powder, primers, brass and etc?

The law also requires ammunition sellers to create and maintain a record of every ammunition transaction in New York that includes the age, occupation, and residence of any person buying ammunition.
Not sure on reloading supplies.

Ammo seems to be the only issue right now in this shithole state. It's just a matter of time before they go after reloaders. I'm sure there's already someone whispering Cunty Whorecul's ear that any common citizen can make their own ammo in under 8 seconds.

My question to you bsekf is: Where have you been the last 10 years?

Stopping online sales of ammo was part of then Gov. Cuomo's "Safe Act" ( New York Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act of 2013) which has been Law since January 2013.

Although Cuomo gave up on trying to gather funds to carry forward some Retailers stopped selling online then.

Along comes our great new gift of a Gov....who is just a puppet for the left to continue Cuomo's great work.

Not only can't we buy ammo online now you will have to fill out info to purchase, along with the soon to be Ammo Purchasing Background Check ( background check requirements imposed on all retail sellers of ammunition are scheduled to take effect on September 13, 2023 ) and they added a $.05 per round Tax on anything larger than ,22 caliber, smaller than .22 is $.02 per round.

New York has had stringent firearms laws for years.

We went to an IBS Nationals back in 2002 in Canastoda NY. We all were formed that no transactions or advertising was allowed.

Skip Otto, a rather colorful character, started hanging advertisements for his line of products. The Match Director told him he could not. Skip, in his usual fashion, said he would do damned well what he pleased. And he did.

Right up until the County Sheriff tapped him on the shoulder.
