Digital scale help

Trying to find one that has about 10-15lb capacity with about a 8-10 inch plate. About .01 grain tolerance. I've looked at ebay and amazon, but the platen size is a problem.
$150 price range.

0.01 grains @ 10 pounds is 7,000,000 counts.
10 pounds is 4536 grams. 0.01 grains is less than a milligram.
What kind (tolerance) of Check Weights are you gonna get to check/calibrate to 0.01 grains?
How much is a 10 pound Mass standard good enough to calibrate your scale>
Not gonna be cheap.

One of the issue with large pans is off center load.

I bought a cheap 3kg scale with 300,000 counts.
I also have the 300 gram model/ milligram resolution.
They are pretty darn good for comparison calibration.

Should have said .1, not .01. I understand the off center, but it won't cause a problem in my use.

That might be doable :)
Made an error with the 70,000,000, really 7,000,000.
For .1 grain 700,000 counts.
Still doesn't sounds right. Must be Nap time :)
Have you priced a single kilogram mass standard good enough?
The scale in the above picture resolves to 10mg/0.15 grains.
The wooden box standards are ASTM Class 1. Used to calibrate others as close as I can.

I have 2 small digital scales now with standards.I believe they are limited to 1000 grams.

I think you are looking for a unicorn Butch. For that weight, you are going to have to significantly lower the resolution. Even 1 grain equates to .065 grams, so even finding a scale to weigh 15lb, expecting anything better than about 3-5 gram resolution would be very good.
