Tikka t1x

Enjoying my new t1x. Got to the range, boresighted and went to 100, 200, 300, 400, and 450 yes. Ran out of elevation for 500. Changed the stock for a B&C Medalist, put a DIP bolt handle on it and a diamondback tactical 4-16. Just so impressed and can't wait for squirrel season.20190623_175954.jpg 20190623_175910.jpg 20190623_185340.jpg

what was the cost of the B&C Medalist stock? It looks great
how do you like the diamond back scope

I also have a Tikka T1X. How were you doing at the 200+ yardages? I am trying to learn to read the wind and reach out that far (I have no experience). Finding some decent ammo got me over the worst of it. Consistent but not 100% hits on rotovator blades at 200 is relatively easy. I've also done fairly well with eggs at 200. Stepping up to 250 is my next step. So far, with my limitation of wind reading skills, keeping on a 20lb propane tank at 250 is about my limit.

The OP was last seen on here in May of '22. I like his setup. I'm going to look for that B&C Medalist. I've been looking at that DIP bolt handle.
