That was Zack’s idea. Came out nice.Sweet bolt knob.
My 22GT is set up for lighter bullets, it’s also very accurate. I was shooting groups yesterday with it. The attached group is typical for the rifle, 5 shots at 102 yards. Very enjoyable cartridge. Alpha brass.I have a 26" 22gt, 7tw 219 bore hawkhill. I run 90 atips at 3120fps, quite accurate, shoots 10 shot groups in 3s at 100y, half moa at distance. I know thats not exceptional for a lot of you here, but for steel comps it works well. I never found pressure to 3220 with H4350.
I run a 7.5 twist 6 dasher 28" for heavy bullets. But have shot the 70 Nosler over 3700 fps, and the 58 Hornady Vmax to 4100 fps..and 4050 from 55 gr Nosler...all had good accuracy and stayed together with that fast twist. Did not have any 80 to 95 gr bullets...I usually run 105, 107, 108, 110 112, & 115 gr bullets for longer range.WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FOR VELOCITY OUT OF THIS CASE AND LIGHT BULLETS.BY LIGHT I AM INTERESTED IN 75 TO 85 GRAIN
