Cures for Vertical--Speedy Speaks

We've just added a nice article by Speedy on how the reduce the vertical in your groups. It addresses a lot of factors--gun-handling, trigger/firing pin issues, wind-reading, and bag set-up. His focus in primarily on short-range benchrest but there are some great bits of advice for any shooter.

Read Speedy's story and your groups won't look like this, LOL!

It may be an old thread, but I never saw it before.
Speedy is THE MAN. I was having issues with my F Class rifle. I took it to Speedy. He sat me down behind his borescope. Assured me that my bore looked new, but chamber was misscut.
He cut 1/2" off the rear of barrel and rechambered it. After new load development, I shot a personal best of 596/600 @ 600yds during the next match.
Besides being a top notch gunsmith and shooter, you absolutely will not find a kinder man.

Dude. Folks are referring to this ANCIENT thread that you resurrected.

Personally ; I don't think "GOOD" information ever goes out of style . Just because it is a very old topic doesn't mean it isn't relevant to another generation of new shooters who have come into the sport in the last Ten years .Kudos to the Boss for putting it up . Regardless of the reason .

Some of these ancient threads have big write-ups that took a lot of thought and work and are still invaluable.

I agree! I’m not sure why folks get a burr under their saddle over the resurrection of an old thread, especially when it contains solid information.
