I am about 30 miles north of Cincinnati. The concern here is the Ohio river. The water works has said they will close the intakes off the river if and when the chemicals get there. They can store 2 days of water. We will see. My water doesn't come form the Ohio River thankfully.

Wind is blowing clouds East but the water contamination is coming down the river. Not gonna be good. They are callng it the Ohio Chenobyl . I live about 75 miles southwest of it.

Sad to see a farmer lose their poultry stock. But, think of it as the canary in the coal mine scenario. Nobody will ingest the contaminated chicken meat/ eggs. Now, how about cattle being produced for consumption? If those exposed survive, how long until their livers can filter out these chemicals, if at all? And by rough extension, anybody else worried about next seasons venison? Ironic to think that I’ve voluntarily switched to monolithic bullets to eliminate lead exposure for me and my family yet have this cluster flub happen! Watching to see if our mountain property in the eastern panhandle of Wv is affected. Prayers here for all involved.
