New 22 RF Pistol. Problem???

Purchased one of these from J & G:

Function and accuracy is good. IMHO, actually, accuracy is VERY good for a 4" barrel.

Handgun is just the right size for my hand and is lightweight.

Problem - a fired case has a bulge just above the rim at the 6 o'clock position. Bulge in the case occurred because whomever made the feed ramp, touched the bottom of the chamber about 1/16" in.

Keep shooting or send it back? No reply from the company that I purchased the pistol from. Will call them tomorrow.

Suggestions?

If it's functioning properly (not jamming), shoots well I don't see an issue . It's not like your going to RELOAD the brass. BUT then again it is a new pistol and should be as such.

Does it rupture any cases? If not shoot it and enjoy it.If you send it back ,then the hassles start. It is a 200.00 gun in the first place and the next one could be worse.

Done to ensure dependable loading with wide variety of ammo. No problems. Think early Glock pistols with resulting once fired guppy brass.

I had issue with a French target pistol, Unique 69. Pistol function ,shot well, ejected shells, it was the bulge that bothered me above the rim of the case. This was 30 years ago and i believe the problem had to do with the extractor and spring. Replaced them and the bulge went away.
