Remember, it more than likely came over Canada also and into the USA. Everyone knows the PM in canada also favors communisim as does Joe and Pamala and the Democrats, so none of them will do anything to harm this balloon from China. It is safe and sound from any harm, with these people in power in the USA and Canada.
Showing my age, and it was also war time. But how many remember the Jap balloons that came over the US, during WWII ? , Our government, then, shot them down, when they were in areas safe to do so.
Most of those were of the type that started fires where they came down, on their own.
This balloon, from China, is doing nothing but spying and gaining information that they intend to use further, when they are ready to attack or harm the USA.

They must be interested in how deep the snow is here in Montana.

to take it out.....Lets say that the hanging array is a bunch of gathering
sensors. If It were me wearing a couple of stars, I'd be feeding those
sensors a bunch of bullshit. Send them some graphics. Maybe a video
of Xi getting humped by goats. Yeah we could screw with them as much
as we want. Another thing to think about is it may not be a Chinese
balloon even though we are told that. They have satellites and a space
station to look us over. My bet is North Korea from the toad.....At this
point, I'd say put a few holes in it and let it bleed out.

It is maneuverable and so large(payload) it is dangerous to "shoot" down. Some where over central US, guess maneuverable by changing altitude to find a wind direction change. Currently 60k wind speed is about 60knots and southeasterly direction.

Nope. Read some news reports, it drifts wherever the jet stream takes it. Think about it: that huge a helium bag, at 60,000 feet, and the winds up there are over 100 mph. It's unusual it stalled for a while over one large state, a fluke of nature.

I just watched a press conference,an Air Force General was the spokesman. He stated that the ballon is maneuverable. He also stated this is not the first time for an event like this. When questioned about when it happened before his answer was that info is classified? Why are they telling us this time? Stinks worse then 3 day old fish market. Jeff

Pentagon stated it WAS collecting data. I would upload a virus and allow the data transfer back to China. Let them deal with digital infrastructure issues in say their electrical grid or air traffic control system, oil pipelines.
