I sure would like to get a set of those bags. Do you sell the seperately?
The standard 2 pc L shaped bag and the one pc bag can be retrofitted to the NEO standard and the Mini-X, without any modification. But not so with the hard sides bag, you would need to use a pair of NEO-X side plates to use the (3 pc) hard sides* (Yes just the side plates). Also please be advised that the hard sides bag wouldn't be legal to use in IBS & WRABF match, just in case you shoot a santioned match under IBS & WRABF rules. Thanks to NBRSA for the new updated front bag rules!
You can order the bags from Ernie Bishop or Mike Ratigan in the USA.

Happy New Year Seb

Will this first shipment be a large one? Hoping Ernie gets a bunch.

Rich
Mr. Rich,
Unfortunately I can only make a first batch of 125's and must ship to many countries.
First shipment will be for Testers and then the ones with older date of order.
Miss you!

Test

The standard configuration (for right handed), the elevation control on the left hand side, with two legs on shooter's side.

Checking the ability of the top to accept +/- 17 lbs weight (equal to 22lbs F-Open gun weight) and the fluidity of the joystick operation. Also shaking the joystick to check for zero lash/play.

This new rest has more good features than ever. And already tested / proven in some F-Open & BR competitions.

In addition, please don't ask me to compare my rest with other rest, again that is not my style and not needed. Some already knew how this rest works, and some of you in the waiting list will know it soon.

We have total 450+ people in the list for the NEO-X alone, until last October 2022. Or 500+ until today, I do not know exactly how many. I (can) only make 150 units in this first batch, so please be patient and thank you so much for your understanding!

All the best,
seb

The new internal mechanism runs on (4) hard chrome steel rods and (8) teflon coated metal bushings, it will last for years, more trouble free, with minimum maintenance. And of course smoother.
In case the user wants to clean the internal in the future, just remove the front bag & top plate, clean (by air pressure) and spray the mechanism using teflon chain spray. (I use "G'zox" brand myself, made in Japan, great stuff).

Easier tension adjustment (one in the front side for vertical friction, one at shooter's side for horizontal), very easy to adjust by the user.
As always, think about a few clicks on your riflescope when adjusting the tension. Do not over tighten, only use two or three fingers using the 4mm allen driver provided.

I would think you would not need a counterweight even for BR shooting with the new mechanism.

The rest will work for any gun weight up to 30 lbs. Heavier uplift springs, or a counterweight, will be available on request.

Awesome work. I can’t wait to get mine (several several months down the list as of now). I can’t help but look at the picture below and think there must be a creative way to mount a spotting scope via an adjustable arm to the underside of the arm circled in RED in the picture. Just a thought. I know you have an incredible mind and certainly the skills and craftsmanship to pull it off. Good luck brother.
Dave.

Hi Dave, thank you for yours brother!

Bryan Blake is much more clever and has a lot more skills than me, most likely we can see a great one soon.
