GRS stocks

I have a few GRS: Hybrid, Berserk, and Sporter. In PRS use the laminates will definitely get dinged up hard compared to a fiberglass or carbon fiber material.

The Berserk is a good durable polymer but it’s not as stiff as other synthetic materials. I used it for PRS once but it might be better for Varmint or field carry hunting due to the light weight.

GRS has some chassis types like the Ragnarok and Warg and I have no experience with those. I expect they’ll be much better for PRS.

Thanks. I've been contemplating one of the Anschutz 54:18s in the GRS Hybrid stock. I figured the laminate would probably take a beating over a chassis.

Afraid not, all of my GRS laminate stocks are susceptible to pressure marks. If you are trying to avoid marks and dings it’s not a hard enough material. I would think a chassis can’t be dinged and can always be repainted / recoated.

I have a GRS - HYBRID on a Kelby .308 F-TR Rifle , and just flat out love it . Most comfortable stock I've ever shot . Yes ; It's a Finnish White Birch Laminate , and they are susceptible to dings and dents , Not the kind of stock you want to bang around and beat on . Plastic or fiberglass for that . I have way to much time and money in my HYBRID to beat it up . And it's way to pretty , too .
