Savage 99 250 Savage question

Talkin about bending a barrel on a rifle, jokingly. My dad had a 3in. 870 that would pattern low at 40 yds. He stuck the barrel in the fork of a apple tree and bent it up. Got it just right. Hes killed alot of turkeys with it since. I asked him how he knew when to stop. He said he got lucky. Doug

I had a horse roll on a pump 06....pushed sight all the way to one side and got it sighted in. my buddy still hunts with it...lol
