Get past $900 and theres some nice custom actions out there for that price
.......and the barrel, stock, trigger, and gunsmithing will be how, much?Get past $900 and theres some nice custom actions out there for that price
Same exact price whether its a remington or kelbly or defiance and cheaper if you get it trued up.......and the barrel, stock, trigger, and gunsmithing will be how, much?
I did not see reference to it being a donor rifle. But if its under 900 on the street, is accurate, and looks ok it will do fine to wack Bambis dad. In most people's minds it will still be a Remington, although it's not. Let's not throw it away before it's given a chance. Now in reference to your post, trying to turn a hunting action into a custom action is a losing proposition, I agree with you.Same exact price whether its a remington or kelbly or defiance and cheaper if you get it trued up
Yes as a rifle to use as is i would choose it over the rest actually. If you did want to upgrade later youre that much ahead especially with stocks, triggers, etc. id take a 1/2” remington over a 1/4” anything else when it comes to hunting off the shelf.I did not see reference to it being a donor rifle.
